It stars the voices of Joseph Gordon-Levitt (15-year-old Jim Hawkins), Brian Murray (John Silver), David Hyde Pierce (Dr. Delbert Doppler), Martin Short (B.E.N.), & Emma Thompson (Captain Amelia). This film has been rated (MPAA/USA [No. 39135]) PG for adventure action and peril, G (Canadian English), and G (Canadian French). I would give this movie 087% of a star.

James Pleiades "Jim" Hawkins receives a mysterious map from dying Billy Bones & discovers it leads to Treasure Planet. Aboard the RLS Legacy, a Navy Heavy Scout, Jim befriends cyborg John Silver, who later reveals himself to be a space pirate. They finally find "the loot of a thousand worlds" , but find out that Captain Nathaniel Flint, before his death, set up a booby trap, causing Treasure Planet to explode to smithereens. Jim is then accepted to the Interstellar Academy.
